Adirondack Guideboat Kit 

Included in your kit will be all of the wood parts and hardware needed for building your boat. This will include a pine bottomboard, cedar planking (cut and beveled), 2 spruce stems, laminated spruce ribs, cherry seats, gunnels, floorboards and decks, brass rowlocks and pins, brass stem bands and soft maple oar blanks. Supplies will include screws, fiberglass, resin, gloves, dust masks and rollers. (Varnish is not included.) A builder's manual and fiberglassing video will be supplied, also a cd with 122 photos of the building process..

Pre-made oars: Some folks find that building the boat is quite adequate and would prefer buying oars made by us. In those cases, we give you a $150 credit and the completed oars will cost you $300, rather than the $450 we normally charge. If you would prefer cherry blank oars (or cherry completed oars) add $200.
