| If you're like us, you'll do almost anything to stay off someone's mailing list. |
| We value our customers and our potential customers. Abusing or insulting folks with whom you hope to do business doesn't make sense. |
| There are advantages of being on our mailing list. If we are doing a show in your area, we'll drop you an e-mail to tell you when and where. |
| Or, if we were having a sale or announcing a new boat.... the only way we will let you know is via e-mail. |
| Every year 40 or 50 people send us new e-mail address.....just to make sure we don't lose touch. |
| And, yes, two or three times a year someone will ask to be taken off of our mailing list. That's all it takes, zip, you're gone. |
| An additional benefit comes to mind...sometimes a particularly attractive delivery opportunity presents itself. For example, last month we shipped a boat from Vermont to Los Angeles for $162. |
| Normally the charge would have been $719. A trucker called to say he had room and would be passing through Minneapolis, Denver, San Diego and Seattle. He gave us a dirt cheap price....we sent an e-mail to folks on his route and sold a half-dozen boats. |
