Boats for Women |
| It used to be that a woman's involvement with a boat was in the role of passenger. Sometimes that's still the case. But more and more often, women are buying boats for themselves. Light, fast, secure, beautiful and well designed. What could be better? |

| For some, it's the 12-ft Vermont Packboat that lights her eyes. For others, it's the 15-ft guideboat. Partly it's a question of personal taste, other times it's a question of physically being able to move the boat about on shore. Of course, the best way to select a boat is on the water. Short of that, we're pretty good at figuring what size boat would suit you best. The photos above are women who felt more comfortable in our 15-ft boat. | There is a curious difference between men and women as passengers in our boats. Women almost always troll a hand or a few fingers in the water. Men never do. We present the evidence but are lacking a theory. |
